Ljubo Stefanov – Director / Co-Director

Born in 1975 in Skopje, Ljubo has over 20 years of experience in development and production of communication concepts and  documentaries related to environmental issues and human development. He has been working for clients such UN agencies, Euronatur, Swisscontact etc.

Tamara Kotevska – Director / Co-Director

Born in Prilep, 1993, Tamara graduated film directing at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Skopje. She has over 5 years of experience in documentary and  fiction film-making as a freelance film director. She lives and works in Skopje.

Atanas Georgiev – Producer / Editor

Born in 1977 in Skopje, Macedonia (in what was at that time Yugoslavia).
He is one of the founders of Trice Films and Film Trick – Production Companies out of Macedonia and subsidiaries of FX3X.
He makes his living by editing feature films, but then he invests his money in documentaries he believes in.
His debut Cash & Marry, which cost him years of hard work and a pulmonary embolism has won many international awards and wide recognition. This film was followed by Avec l’amour which was a festival favorite in 2017 premiering at HOTDOCS, and than by Honeyland in 2019 which won 3 Sundance awards including the Grand Jury Award for Best World Documentary.

Fejmi Daut – Cinematographer

Born in Skopje in 1980. Since 1998, he actively began working at a national TV station – Kanal 5 in Macedonia. In 2000 he enrolled at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Skopje at the Department of Cinematography.
In 2005 he graduated and since then he’s continued to work extensively in the world of independent filmmaking as well as video productions all across the Balkans – as a Director of Photography as well as a First Camera Assistant. Fejmi received the Best Cinematography award for Honeyland at Sundance Film Festival in 2019.

Samir Ljuma – Cinematographer

Samir Ljuma is credited as DOP on several documentary films. He has also collaborated with various film directors from Macedonia and abroad such as: “Avec L’Amour” by Ilija Cvetkovski; “Lake of Apples” and Honeyland by Tamara Kotevska and Ljubomir Stefanov
He also worked as a Producer on several projects for various international projects such as:
“Fake News Fairytale”, winner of the Grierson Award, directed by Kate Stonehill. “Selling Lies” directed by Oscar nominee director Leslie Iwerks and produced by Morgan Freeman’s company “Revelation Entertainment” and “Iwerks&Co”.
He is a DOP as well as the Producer of the short film “Mishko” directed by Hanis Bagashov. Samir won the Best Cinematography award for Honeyland at the Sundance Film Festival in 2019.

RANA EID -Sound Designer

Rana Eid has worked as a sound designer in the Arab film community for the past 15 years. She has worked on a multitude of fiction and documentary films, video art and installation works, and various other audio-visual projects, collaborating with a number of acclaimed Lebanese filmmakers. She has also worked on films from the region (Syria, Jordan, Palestine), teaming up with established filmmakers as well as emerging emerging talents. In 2006 Rana opened db STUDIOS-Beirut for audio post-production with composer Nadim Mishlawi.
